Banjo needs someone to love! We think that he was tied up in
somebody’s backyard with no human attention or dog interaction
for a long time. When he first came to us, Banjo was severely
underweight and suffering from the worst case of worms we have
ever seen. Additionally, he was not used to contact with people
and did not show us any affection or much attention at all.
What a long way sweet Banjo has come! With time and loving
attention from BDAR volunteers, Banjo has done a complete “180”
when it comes to being with people. He is now a total attention
hound and is quick on the draw with that friendly tongue. Our
young volunteers can comfortably walk him on a leash, and he now
enjoys several trips per week to the park for long walks in the
sun. Banjo is quite a clown and likes to run super fast around
the yards in big circles and then run up to his person and jump
up and down next to them. He’s very athletic and would make a
great companion for someone seeking an active, eager to please
dog. We think he would be awesome at agility! If
you think you may be the right home for beautiful Banjo, please
call us for an appointment. If you don’t think
your home is right for him, but you would like to help, please
consider donating to help us continue to provide quality care
and training for him. |
