There are not enough good things to say
about Flint. He is just a big, affectionate, teddy bear of a
dog. Like so many here at BDAR, Flint was within just a few days
of being euthanized when we stepped in to help him. Thank
goodness an alert shelter volunteer contacted us about Flint.
Flint is an affectionate, very quiet and
reserved dog. Flint has been fostered in a home with a five year
old, an infant, two cats, and a Chihuahua, a challenge for any
dog! But, Flint handled it like a pro and came to be good
friends with all members of his foster family. He likes to chew
on rawhides and occasionally gut a stuffed animal. He is nice to
take on walks and is reliable off leash. Flint knows how to sit
and lay down. He’s housebroken and good with all dogs, cats, and
kids. He really is just an awesome guy! Whoever ends up with
this dog will be very fortunate indeed. Flint was adopted once
and returned for having a couple of accidents in the house
during his first week. These kinds of growing pains are to be
expected from any dog going into a new situation, but it broke
our hearts that someone could give up on this boy so easily.
Won’t you give him a real chance? |
