We are excited to announce that Black Dog Animal Rescue’s Founder and Executive Director, Britney Wallesch, will be speaking at the upcoming Wyoming Governor’s Business Forum.
This event, held November 7-9 at the Little America Hotel and Resort in Cheyenne, is being hosted by the Wyoming Business Alliance and Wyoming Heritage Foundation. The theme is, “The Dynamics of Change.” This forum is presenting a variety of speakers, including Governor Matt Mead, to focus on a business perspective of how Wyoming can use innovation and entrepreneurship to overcome the dynamics of changes facing education, minerals, tourism, agriculture, and the entire state economy.
Britney will be speaking specifically about being a female entrepreneur, nonprofits as businesses, and about the dedication and determination it took to make BDAR a success.
BDAR has become the largest rescue in Wyoming under Britney’s leadership, and she constantly strives to educate those in the state about the changing face of animal welfare. Her Tedx Talk about the divisiveness of the phrase “No-Kill” continues to make waves in the industry.
