Black Dog Animal Rescue, nominated this year for the third time for Nonprofit of the Year, is hosting its annual Thankful Thursday event on April 20th in Cheyenne at the AMVETS Post 10, 3839 E. Lincolnway.

Thankful Thursdays occur throughout the year in support of various local nonprofit organizations. BDAR is seeking donations of goods and services for this year's auction. Thankful Thursday is open to anyone over the age of 21 and this event will feature a fun and well-stocked "hot dog bar" for $5/plate.
